Advantages of X-ray control method

• control of small thicknesses and stainless steel products is possible (stainless steel up to 4 mm is not controlled by ultrasonic method) 
• control of various materials (metals and alloys, graphite, ceramics, plastic, wood, etc.)
• there is a snapshot (visibility of the results of control and the possibility of detecting small rounded defects (pores), which are not reliably determined by ultrasonic flaw detection).

Preparation of the object for x-ray control:

In the case of work at the customer’s site, the Customer provides:

• access of laboratory specialists directly to control points
• in the case of work at height – organization of scaffolding, lift
• cleaning the near-weld zone on both sides of the seam from metal splashes
• absence of the Customer’s personnel in the control area

In some cases, the laboratory can take over the cleaning and organization of access.
